Yahoo Chat

    IN windows 98 having Yahoo chat room installed, keeps solitaire from loading.
    I get GFP protection message. Is there any other chat I can download to chat with my son?

    Yes, there are more than one chat program which will work with multiple clients and are far less invasive and troublesome than yahoo.

    Trillian is probably the most popular of these. It has all the fancy bells and whistles and emoticons and other fancy things . It works with yahoo, msn , aol and more . You can run a single application and chat with friends who use any or all of these.

    If you prefer a simple text interface without a lot of fancy stuff, then Gaim is a great choice. It likewise works on all chat clients , but is much sparser being mainly a text application.
