    Trying to help a friend. Is there a way to read chat history from Yahoo? I've never been in a Yahoo chat room, so I have no idea where to look, and I'm not finding any info on the net. Can anybody help?

    Only if the Yahoo archiving preference is enabled, or with a keyboard logger.(that I'm aware of)

    Dave, if she enables archiving, how does she view the history of future chats? Type slowly, because I have no experience with Yahoo chat, and she is not even remotely computer savvy! :)

    Tools on the buddy list. Click message archive. After rereading your post I see you said Yahoo CHAT, not instant messages. The archiving is for IM's. She'll need a third party app. for chat.
