I use both Yahoo and MSN messengers. I really like them besides the fact that every time I use them, they automatically add themselves into the startup programs list. Is there a way to block they from doing this?

I have the microsoft antispyware software, and it tells me it has allowed these programs to add themselves to the startup programs, is there a way to tell this program to block the messenger from doing this, or is there any other way to do it?

    thank your for your time,

    Fernando Ríos

Sign into Yahoo and click Messenger on the toolbar of your buddy list, then preferences. Click the general tab and uncheck the box to automatically start when the computer starts. Click OK.

Sign into MSN and click Tools on the toolbar, then options. Click the General tab and uncheck Automatically run messenger when Windows starts. Click OK.
