I upgraded from Windows 98SE to XP (Home Edition). My computer is a HP Pavillion XL776 and I have plenty of RAM. After surfing for awhile, I start getting an error page from Xupiter (I don't even know where it came from!) that says the Page Cannot Be Displayed.....check my settings, etc. etc.. When it starts this, the only thing I can do is reboot. What is causing this? My browser is IE 6.

easier yet do a google search on "uninstall xupiter" and you'll find an uninstall file. It's not hard to get rid of but you have to do it a certain way.

I found out that xupiter is one of those things that come with sertain free programs. It differs from some others in that even if you uninstall the software, iit tends to stay on your pc. the forst thing it does is hijack your home page and then.....

    Thank You All!

That you all that posted answers to my Xupiter question. I even updated my Ad-aware and unchecked the download on demand boxes in my tool bar so hopefully this won't happen again.

Ya'll are all the BEST! :D
