    Hi all.

I've installed a network for a small company using:
    - A server with Active Directory, Windows 2003 Server SP1.
    - Workstations with Windows XP SP2.

All workstations (10.0.0.x) have the same default gateway (10.0.0.2) and DNS server (10.0.0.2).

Everything seems to be ok, except one workstation named 'ws04'. This workstation can ping and get access to other workstations, but only one workstation named 'ws03' can ping and get access to 'ws04' ???

I've tried to troubleshoot but this problem still exists. So can you tell me what's my problem and how to fix it ?

    Thank you very much.

If you create an unprotected share on ws04 named sharit, what happens if a user on ws03 tries to connect via start->run->\\ws04\sharit ?

Also, the first 'fix' I usually try on these sorts of one-off annoyances is to move the problem machine off the domain to a workgroup, reboot it, and then add it back to the domain. The SID will be new so the DC will see it as a new box.
