XP windows updates

    Hello
    Can anyone tell me why the microsoft windows update keeps bringing up the critical update and service pack when I have it installed already more then 1 time due to thinking I hadn't got this update since it keeps coming up.When I go to the instalation history it says it has been successfully installed yet it keeps bringing it up anyone have any Ideas why?
    Its the HP pavillion and windows xp service pack 1 incompatibilty (article Q329450)
    and how do I uninstall it after I beleive its been installed more then 1 time

    The WU site is acting up, since the VM patch has received wide coverage in the press.... It'll probably return to 'normal' in a few days....

    It shouldn't be a problem. You were simply installing the update over top of itself.
