I am curently running windows XP. I am trying to install windows 2000 on another hd in the computer. Everytime I go to run the windows 2000 install disk it tells me that there is already a newer version of windows (meaning XP) and it can't install it.

Can someone tell me a way around this.

    Thanks
    Darrick

One sure way is to disconnect the XP drive cables, be sure the second hard drive is turned on in your computer set-up. Install Win 2K on the second HD. I have the same arrangement using Win 98SE and XP. I select which drive I want to boot from in my set-up. There might be an eaiser way but this will work.
