I am encountering the problem described in the troubleshooting section of WINDOWS_HELP.NET where my XP reboots unexpectedly. Unfortuneately I cannot access the control panel to fix the problem as the article says because my system reboots before it is finished loading.

Does anyone know where I can find the registry entry for this value?????

    Thanks

Can you boot the machine up into safe mode using F8 during the BIOS screen?
While the BIOS is posting hit F8 every half/one second till you see the safe mode options then select safe mode and if the machine boots OK right click my comp|properties|advanced|startup and recovery|settings and untick automatically restart. Then to find the cause....
