XP system restore doesn't work

    Can anybody send me the file <sr.sy_> from Windows XP Home Edition CD?
    It should be on D:\i386\ directory. I'm on business trip and don't have the original CD with me.

    I know that - you asked for the compressed file sr.sy_ , it expands to sr.sys.

    FWIW attached is the file from an XP Pro SP2 CD - change the file extension to sy_ - we cannot attach that particular attribute so it is temporarily changed to .txt.

    I am still curious :)
