XP-Sys/Restore/delete files

    How do I delete old system restoe files in Win:XP-Pro Svc.Pac.2

    D.Matura--If you want to delete all System Restore files, turn System Restore off. Reboot. If you want it back on to start creating new SR points, then turn it back on.
    If you want to delete only certain SR points (files) go to C:\System Volume Information| "restore" folder (which will also have some numbers in its title) and delete the specific RP files you no longer want.
    The System Volume Information folder may be hidden.
