After installing the SP1 updates I have noticed all the unistaller "files" are listed under C:windows, in blue text. If I go to the control panel and look at update history, it shows the SP1 in progress while all others are listed as successful. It hasn't caused any trbl so far, but should I try an uninstall from the control panel and reinstall?

    This is normal.

It would appear from your discription that SP1 has not finished downloading and installing. The maximum download size is approximately 30 MB and Microsoft says that the typical download times for the Express installation is 1.25 hours @ 56K.

When did you try downloading/installing SP1?
Are you using a dialup connection?
If so, open an internet connection and without opening any IE windows look at the internet connection icon on your taskbar, does the icon show internet activity?

When you open the Windows Update Site and scan for updates does it find SP1 again?

    Let us know. :)
