xp sp1 - cannot install

Well, I cannot install xp sp1. The files are extracted, the wizard starts, and then it crashes and gives me the error message, "sp1 installation canceled. "

I have installed the same sp download on other computers in my office with the same exact configuration with no problem so the downloaded file is O.K.

I have turned off lots of services, and I suspect that this the problem.

Can anyone give me some advice? What services need to be on for the install to complete? Other ideas, please. . .

Try the default configuration and be sure WMI is enabled.
