New Computer, New Windows XP Home Edition.

If I click on Start and tell the comptur to restart, it shuts down normally, but then restarts with a totally blank screen - the CPU is up and apparently running, but no video feed. Reboot manually and then it's good.

    Any ideas?

If the PC is brand new, don't mess with it. Take it back and demand a replacement or a full refund.

    Hello JRG,

Agree with BurrWalnut, sounds like a bad video card.

    Regards - Charles
