xp pro wont boot

    I have windows xp home, I bought a xp pro disk, I cant get it to boot at startup nothing pop ups...nothing as in no "click here to boot from disk" message nothing like that showed up, i tryed everything...how do i make it boot?

    Did you change your BIOS settings to boot from the CD drive before the Hard Drive?
    If not, press delete (usually, It'll tell you which key during the boot process) to enter the BIOS, then look for an entry like "Boot Order" or "Boot Sequence ". The most useful sequence is Floppy Drives > Optical Drives (eg CD drive) > Hard Drives.
