Just wondering if XP Pro SP2 and XP Pro x64 use exactly the same file system or if there are significant differences. I always use a seconday partition at the beginning of my HDD for my swap file. Can they share the same swap partition ?

Depends if 64bit uses the same file name. If it does - no can do.

That's what I thought of immediately after the post. I've created a 4GB partition in the root of the HDD and will have Windows use different swapfiles insode that partition.
