I have removed outlook as the profile for mail and inserted https:mail.google.com instead. I have both selected and deselected use current email program under default programs. When I am in a yahoo user group and hit reply to sender or hit reply to group, I get redirected interrmittently to microsoft word as the editor and it sends through outlook. What I want is a reply through the gmail web account. Am I missing a click somewhere? Again the OS is xp and its outlook 2003. Thank you.

As you found out: that won't work.

You'd need 3rd party software to do so.

Any ideas on how to redirect to reply from a gmail dialog box if it's launching outlook automatically. This only happens in the Gmail account when replying in yahoo groups? Also, it is an intermittent action. Sometimes, it launches outlook, sometimes it replies through Gmail. I do not know if it's just buggy or if there is a setting I am missing.
