My company recently purchased a new copier with networking printing and scanning capabilities. Our Internet and file sharing is via an existing Wireless G network. Our original set-up for the copier was via a USB Print Server. Then, it was realized that we cannot use the scan feature with this connection. In addition, we were not able to print from all programs within Windows. I have now hooked up the copier directly to a Dell desktop via crossover Ethernet (LAN) connection. Now, as long as the LAN connection is enabled, no wireless Network Places are found. Then, as soon as the LAN is disabled, all of the Network Places load up. I need to be able to access My Network Places for all my workgroup computers while using the LAN connection on the desktop for scanning and network printing. PLEASE HELP. I've tried everything I can think of

Why are you connecting this copier to a desktop? Since this is a network device, connect it directly to your LAN with a straight cable to a hub/switch/router.

Then configure the PCs to connect to this device using TCP/IP Printing.
