    Hi guys & gals
The 'regular logon screen' that displays a choice of logon identities eg guest etc., has disappeared from my bootup sequence. MIA.
Similiar issues have been raised on BBS but i could not find the resolution. Should I reload XP.
    All sugestions gratefully received.
    best regards.

    Start

I think there is a option to change the start menu and the beggining screen in control panel. From there you can change the start screen back to the multi-login format.

This happened to me after I was messing around with Networking.

Discovered 'Control Panel' is a very large place to search. Any further advice on the missing 'log in ' screen. please

Go to control panel>user accounts>change the way users log on and off>

Make sure both boxes are ticked.

I've got the same problem with my logon screen. But the solution I have given above doesn't work with mine.

Give it a go and see if you get your logon screen back

    missing logon

Thankyou Mackster for the advice. Unfortunately that method (both ticks)does not work in this system either. Hopefully somebody will illuminate the path for us both. best regards.
