XP keeps loosing track of resolution settings

    Everytime I restart an XP Pro machine, it displays itself so large that the Start button is out of the corner of the screen. I have to resize to smaller resolution to fit it back to its appropriate corner. Why is this happening? I have checked for viruses and spyware and did checkdisk. Could the registry be corrupting?
