    Hi all,

I have 4 xp pro PCs set up in a workgroup environment( not domain environment). One of the xp acts as a file storage system. Is it possible to set file and folder rights based on the pc they loggin to?

I think you can only set the permissions based on the username they log on with.

And you didn't say what file system but with NTFS you will see quite a few security options that do not exist with Fat32.
