XP from External HD?

    Is it possible to install Win XP to an external hard drive (i.e Western Digital Passport II 80 GB HD), and then run XP from that drive? Would you be able to plug into another computer and run this setup?

    Hi Ace,

    Another issue is the BIOS - it has to have the option to boot off of USB devices.

    That option is fairly new, last two years or so.
