Resolved XP Freeze - C: not showing in CMOS

    Whilst working on an email everything freezes.
    I reboot but the C: drive is not recognised.
    Went into the CMOS but not recognised there either.

    Similiar to a previous problem Blue Screen posted Nov 21which mysteriously rectified itself.

    My initial response to this is to reseat RAM, which I haven't done as yet.
    Thought I would see if anyone has a logical explanation for such a weird happening?

    I would check the data cable to the hard drive. System specs would help.

    Followed my instincts...reset Ram...booted Ok
    Crazy PC's
