Ok... lots of similar ground covered, but I didn't see this one. I installed sp2 on a machine a couple of days ago. Since I installed it, this is what's happening:

I reboot, logon (there are two accounts and it does it with both), and up pops windows explorer in the My Documents folder. WHY? Fully expanded and all. It doesn't seem to have an affect on anything else, but it is very annoying.

    Any suggestions??

    Thanks
    Matt

windows file explorer opens on logon

So, no idea on this problem, I take it? I've looked at the "run" area of the registry, the startup, and just about anything else that I can find that has anything to do with startup. Maybe I'll just have to use dr. watson...

    Thanks,
    Matt

Have a look at Kelly's post in this thread . There may be something there for you.
