xp errors please help .... mini.dmp

thanks for the help, this is my first time posting.

i get these two errors very frequently, epsecially when i am playing an online game such as RTCW.

E:\WINDOWS\Minidump\Mini042603-09.dmp

E:\DOCUME~1\Dads\LOCALS~1\Temp\WER1.tmp.dir00\sysdata.xml

ive done a little searching on the web but very little answers.

Can't help with the cause, but you may want to delete the mini dump files, as they remain on the HD and slowly chew up space. Do a search for *.dmp and delete all the dump files and reclaim some space. You can turn off the dump facility if you like as well. Right click My Computer|Advance|Startup and Recovery...

 

mrtucson - first off, welcome to you.

Not to push you off but This Thread on another forum has lots of discussion about dealing with sysdata.xml issues and I'd suggest you take a look thru it for ideas.

I read it just now and all the recommendations are harmless at worst and may fix you up at best.

Post back if any of it raises more questions or if none of it fixes your problem. We will have at least ruled out quite a few possibles that way.
