When I turn on my computer, Windows XP( AMD 1.2 Ghz, 40 GB HD and 512 MB Ram) will be shown for awhile then there is a message that Windows XP could not find your personal profile. From here is my problem that it takes a very long time to long on to the new profile I have created.I did installed the Windows XP one more time but still it is the same and take a long time to log in.Thanks for your help.

Did you delete the old profile and create a new one? Did you copy files fromthe old profile into the new? What do you consider to be a long time for Windows to load your new profile? Can you give me the time in minutes and seconds from the initial power up until the Desktop appears.

I consider 1 minute and 15 seconds to be acceptable for most systems, discounting any time spent waiting for user selection of logon id.
