XP Briefcase not copying certain files

    I apologies now as I've just got XPpro so there could be a lot of posts coming.

    This one is about the briefcase. Under Win98SE I simply dragged the folder I wanted in one of my briefcases and it copied the files and kept them sync'd. When I tried to do this in XP in objected to copying files that I didn't have permission to open, mainly mda files. These files are part of a program that has permission to open the files. How do I get it to sync all files without throwing a wobbly?

    No, Billy just says "Select the update option ". Must be something to do with overall permissions but as XP is even more un-user friendly than Win98, I could be sometime.
