XP Background Task Server

    I am using XP Pro and when I boot up, I started to get a Message Box with;

    "Background Task Server Has Encountered A Problem
    And Needs To Close "

    What is the Background Task Server? and what does it do ?
    How can I fix this problem? Will re-installing XP fix it?

    I tried XP Repair , but I still get this message...

    If you have "Fix-It " installed, remove the program and reinstall it.
