Resolved xp and QL-500

I am having trouble installing my QL-500 printer on XP I have installed it elsewhere OK but not on another. help please.

 

Be sure you do not have the printer connected to the USB port when you start your install, as the software will tell you when to plug it into a USB port. If it’s been awhile that you had your printer go to the Brothers website and download the newest driver and P-touch Editor for the QL-500. Both came out in June of this year. You will need the SN# of the printer to download the software. SN# can be found on the bottom of the printer.

Thanks Russ done all that but it is hanging on the original disk but I will give it one more go with the latest from Brother..

 

Russ removed all old hardware installs etc installed latest p touch software and all is well thanks for the instant reply..stuhindl
