   I have recently been using XnView Image Viewer, so I have associated JPG files with it, but the JPG Icons have not changed. How can I make JPG files use XnView's Icon?

   Have you associated the viewer with .jpg & .jpeg files?
   
   I doubt there is a way to force Windows to use the viewer icon - it may not even be written into the viewer code.
