Resolved xls files

    Can anyone help with opening xls and doc files.
    I do not seem to have the appropriate software for these.

    Do you have MS Office installed? .xls is the native Excel file (up to Office 2003, but later versions will also open them); .doc are Word files.

    Alternatively ....

    Word Viewer

    Excel Viewer

    Or if you wish to edit them without MS Office...

    Open Office is a free alternative.
