So I recently bought a XFX 6800XT AGP video card. How ever now I can't play video such as those found on cnn.com and the intro to various games such as elderscrolls: Morrowind. Both of which I could run with my old PNY 5700. Also elderscrolls: Oblivion keeps causing my computer to reboot. after which I get a message from windows explaining that the video driver went into an infinite loop while waiting for the video card to go idle. Less graphics intensive games like Elderscrolls: Morrowind and Guild Wars: Factions both are haveing various graphic glitches, including models not textureing right and looking like white boxes and random white bars on the screen. None of these problem happened with my old 5700 and did not happen after I put it back in. Which makes me believe that it is a hardware issue. After discussing with some people I know, I believe that it might be faulty memory on the 6800 card but I am not sure. I am wondering A. if that is indeed the problem. and B. what I should do about it.

Have you tried clearing out your drivers using Driver Cleaner Pro? If not, and you want to, you'll want to run the Cab Cleaner Tool it has and then do an "Nvidia" cleaning, all in Safe Mode as per the directions.
