Hi, My notebook, WinXP home SP1 no longer connects to a SAMBA share,
"The drive could not be mapped because no network was found. "
I can ping the server from this notebook and mount this share
from knoppix running on this notebook. I can also see and connect
from a Win2K box next to this notebook. There appears to be no
problem with networking otherwise, web, ssh ...
The notebook was used on another network, but only via DHCP
as with this network. No Windows updates or software were
installed. No firewall is running. The only odd feature is I cannot
    ping this notebook.

    Any tips appreciated,

    m
