I am somewhat new to this forum and come from a linux backround and have slipped a bit on my windows skills.

I inherited a W2K8 SBS server which has an array of issues. The first major issue I noticed was that there was 0 hdd disk space on the main partition (68G total) and a total of 500G on the second. WSUS is chewing up a ton of space on the main partition and was wondering how I can redirect it to use the second partition and would it be safe to remove what WSUS has already downloaded for updates?

Yes, that should solve part of your problem.

You should be able to remove old and unused updates using the WSUS console.
