    Why would it say this

    Show update history

It says that the update was installed on
    Wednesday December 31, 1969 7:00 PM
    The update was successfully installed.

The date is a bit off
    Thanx,
    Tom

    Tom,

I've not seen this error before. It is not at all uncommon in the Mail Client, but never involving the browser. I'm sure that you've checked your system clock, and that it is correct? How about your battery, is it fairly new?

I've done several searches and haven't come up with anything yet, but will post back if I find anything...

    Tom,

No, no solution, and there are none for users as a rule. These are bugs that are unconfirmed, and why I suggested that you, or your friend, vote for the Bugs. The Bug Reports are for the programmers, and once the bug is confirmed, they add a code to the program for a fix.

where does one find update history, in first place? Which program? I would like to check this out, but don't have a clue as to where it is. Is it only in FF1.5.0.1?
It seems like it from Ramona's links.
One should tell which program, and, how the update was made, and the OS was used to make any sense. I will close my FF1.0.7, and check my 1.5.0.1.
I noticed something odd in the Add/Remove of my WinXP. It reports correctly that I am using, "frequently" both 1.0.7 and 1.5.0.1, but 1.0.7 was last used on 1/20/06, and FF1.5.0.1 on 2/2/06.
A 1969 date is in the same ballpark of the AntiSpyware of NS8.1, which always starts with a Blacklist file of 36 yrs ago, and it used to relapse almost daily, after a full scan, and blacklist update.

I am in 1.5.0.1. and, in Tools|Options|Advanced|Updates|Show update history, I have the correct date of
Feb1, 2006. I used the incremental update from 1.5. Now, if the other strange dates are from direct/clean installation of the 1.5.0.1 program, we may have another oddity, beside showing 1.5 in the Add/Remove.
