Wrapping option greyed out in word97

    Hi
    When i try to wrap text around a picture in word97 i find all the wrapping options greyed out so i am unable to wrap any text can someone help please

    Try this.

    On the "Insert Picture" Window, off to the extreme right side there is a "FloatOver Text" Check box..........Check it, and see if this cures the problem.

    Many thanks irdreed i now have the wrapping options available but i am curious to know why the setting disables the wrapping options

    In "Woody Leonard Teaches Microsoft Office 97" on Page 244, he explains that in previous versions this WAS checked and people got confused because you had to UNCHECK it in order to get the picture in the document and as a result of all the irate and confused customers, MS eventually had to make the change.:eek:

    You're welcome; Glad it solved the problem. I'm sure there are others out there that may have the same problem, and now we let them know that there is an answer.:D :D :D
