Im suprised people are still using Windows 95, now I know that 3rd world countries made a madd fit when Microsoft said that they
were going to discontinue updates and support on 98 but.....

95? wouldnt a small distro version of linux run circles around 95?

Just because MS say they wont support it doesnt mean it will magically stop working !

I have loads of educational customers who run 95 and 98 as they need it for backwards compatibility with old software

Many businessess also still run NT 4 (workstation and Server) as it does their job - despite what MS tell them

Just a pity as I dont make money doing AD migration consultancy till they move on up.. :)

The only reason I switched, and that was only to 98SE, was to get USB functionality for a Webcam.
And it is true, 95 will not stop working just because there is no more official support.
