Works not working...

    Under XP, having problem getting Microsoft Works to launch from anywhere including .exe file. Starts and shows registration data then appears to start but goes down in a few seconds. Have tried reloading and a troubleshooter clean, but to no avail. Problem appeared out of no where.

    Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

    Uninstall, reboot, reinstall, reboot. Pray. Works is funny like that sometimes. I run it from my second partition (away from XP) and it seems to do better. Also, when you get it up and running again, deny it internet access. It will phone home occasionally, and forget all your templates. HTH
