    hi

    my computer lab network was working well, but we are Format pcs and the problem is the workgroup Network the computers see itself does not see each other.
    the lab contains 50 pc's. Not all work because there is breakdowns in electric.and All wires connected to the network Switch.
    to setup the network i have instal the definition of the network compatible with the motherboard of the Intel type. Then set different name to all pc's. The same name workgroup
    other lab's Managers told me (which have same of my lab equipment and their workgroup network work well and now domain ) They told me to change the name of workgroup and reset again. I change them only(it's like whatever the name it's must be the same) but still the same problem. You know the work on about 50 pc's its tired.

    what should i do?
    and
    Is it possible to turn the network into domain will work well in this situation?

    OS=windows xp sp2
    and no internet in lab
    the switch type is 3COM

    Go to TCP/IP Properties and manually set static IP addresses for each computer and also go to Wins tab and set to "enable netbios ove tcp/ip ".
