I am using Word 2000 via MS Office200 SBE and I want to upgrade to Word via Works. My OS is W2K.
Do I need to uninstall Office before loading Works? If not, will I then have two (very slightly different) versions of Word?
    Puzzled

I would try to upgrade first. You'll probably end up with the upgrade.

If not, pop in the MS Office200 SBE cd and uninstal word 2000.

Thanks Steve. I probably will. I now have both but I'll probably do as you predict

Is Word part of Works, now? I have MS Office 2000 and Works 2000, Word is in Office. btw, they work fine side by side from my 2nd partition. Frankly, as good as Open Office is, I doubt I will update the MS products, ever.
