Word Processing - making tables, etc.

    I have Works 4.5 and like it for a lot of things...I have been trying to find an easy way to make tables, charts, etc. I use these for my job, and need to make a variety of charts with different numbers and sizes of rows and columns. These are for printing, not for web page design. Is there anyone out there who can recommend a good word processing program for this purpose? Works has limited templates for tables, but I want something that's fairly open to my input as to what I want it to look like...plain, nothing fancy, mind you. But mainly easy to use! Help, anyone???

    Word allows you to make tables, etc but if you're looking for something with a few more options, then maybe SmartDraw would fit the bill?
