Doing a flyer for school event. Requires contact phone number. They PREFER to have the phone number in "multiple vertical tear off strips" at the bottom of the flyer. Is there a easy way to format this in to Word97?
    TIA

Not too sure that I understand exactly what you want to do, but here's my best guess - works in Word 2000, don't have 97 installed.

At the bottom of your flyer insert a single row table of 'x' cells.

Type in the phone no in each cell - shouldn't matter if it doesn't fit

    Select the table

Format > Text Direction and select the orientation you require.

Then fiddle with column width to suit.

    Thanks Pete.
Sounds like a plan, since I had zip for a trick format.
Will let you know how it works out. :)

Worked like a charm. I've had version(s) of Word for years. I'm still amazed on the vastness of format tools the program offers. Thanks Pete!!
