    1) I deleted folders from monitoring and close wmp11 (auto-update is switched off)
    2) I deleted hidden files in folders with music
    3) I deleted folder C:\Documents and Settings\MyUsername\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Media Player

    4) I open player and add folders, some album arts still coming back

I don't know how to delete them forever, google did not help. Any suggestions?

P.S. I have two partitions C:\ and D:\, all music is stored on D:\. I had format C:\, but after format, the same album arts return! there is folder "8d88137b254e3c4706567247e582" with foder "update" in it on D:\, perhaps those album arts are stored there? I really don't know ):

I rarely use WMP 11. Possible the following setting ...

Click on, Options | Library Tab.
Under header "Automatic media information updates for files ", untick "Retrieve additional information from Internet ".
