I recently upgraded to Windows 7 from Vista. Since that time, my Belkin Wireless Network Adaptor intermittently doesn't activate after the computer wakes from sleep. If I unplug it and plug it back in, the computer then finds it and it works normally, until the next time.

It always worked when I was using Vista.

It is a minor annoyance but does anyone have a solution?

It does not seem to be the USB port as I have tried it in several with the same result. It is now going through a hub and all the other connections in the hub work normally.

I have uninstalled, downloaded and reinstalled the driver and that hasn't helped.

    Try this possible solution .....

Device Manager > USB Root Hubs - right click on each > Properties > Power Management and ensure that 'Allow the computer to turn off .....' is unchecked. I think the default is checked.

Further on this, that didn't work.

When O went into the Device Manager and clicked on Properties for the adaptor, there was the following message.

"Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43) "

Anyone know what that means and how to deal with it?

    According to MS ......

Difficult to say if it is the USB controllers - which you say function OK otherwise or the card driver - more likely.

Did you get the driver direct from Belkin?
