Hello all. I have just bought a wireless keyboard with wireless optical mouse. They came together as a pack. The problem is getting them both to work at the same time. I have followed the instructions step-by-step and still no help. I plugged them both into the PS/2 slots, switched on, and the pressed ‘connect’ on the receiver, then pressed connect on the mouse. Then I waited 15 seconds and pressed connect on the receiver and then pressed it on the keyboard. Normally, the keyboard would work straight away, but the mouse doesn’t. I would re-boot but just the keyboard will work. I have tried this lots of times and only once or twice will they both work but once I re-boot, only one of them is. Any ideas, am I missing something? I am using Windows XP Home Edition if that's any help.

    Thanks in advance

Are you using a "converter" to convert from USB inorder to use the ps2 ports?

No, plugs straight into the PS/2 ports.

This may sound crazy, but maybe the batteries are weak.

I wish it was as simple as that Whiskeyman, but it isn't. I managed to get the both working at the same time, and they have been all day, but I know that as soon as I re-boot, it'll stop working and only the keyboard will function. I'm too scared to re-boot now because it winds me up so much working and then deciding that it wants to have a paddy.
