Wireless internet connection first got slower, then stopped

    We have BT homehub. Usually at home there is the PC (windows XP) with the ethernet connection and a laptop (also XP) which connects wirelessly. Over the last few weeks the laptop has got slower and slower in its connection to the internet. Now it won't connect at all although it says there is a strong internet signal. It won't connect even via the ethernet cable.

    Don't have full error log but there is a lot of Error 12007. There is
    also often a new mesage 802.1 Authentication.

    This message is being written and posted from the PC which is fine.

    You'll need to post the full error messages here.

    If the Error 12007 is from event viewer, you can double click on any error for more details, and there is also a button to copy the error to your clipboard for easy copying & pasting.
