Wireless Home Network Recommendations

I've never personnally networked 2 PCs within a home environment. I know you can buy all the pieces nearly anywhere these days (office supply stores, Circuit City, Best Buys, etc).

In any event, I have a friend of mine who has a laptop, a desktop PC, and a DSL line in his home and wants to network all of these using wireless devices.

Can any of you recommend specific brand names and components that you use and are very satisfied with?
