Okay, I thought I could do this myself but have realized I'm completely clueless :(

I've been on dial-up so this is my first time trying to set anything like this up. I basically just need to know in which order I need to install these things in order to have Comcast high-speed internet wirelessly on my desktop PC.

Right now I have a cable modem with installation CD from Comcast (Terayon - TJ DOCSIS) that's connected to the cable wall outlet, a D-Link Wireless Router (with CD), a D-Link Wireless PCI Adapter (with CD), and the install wizard CD from Comcast. None of this is installed yet.

I was told by a friend to first connect the cable modem to my computer and run the installation CD. Well I did that, but when I restarted my computer, it would just get stuck on the HP screen. I eventually got it to work by starting with my last good configuration, and then uninstalled the Terayon drivers and it seems to be okay now.

I don't want to mess anything up again (though that's usually bound to happen anyway), so if someone could give me a run down on what order I need to do things in I would really appreciate it... thanks :)
