I can change the Left side button to Enter. I set to Enter for once or twice and it will operate. Then it will not operate. I wish it would operate all of the time.

A friend said I should Use Enter on the Left side Button and pick Enable program-specific settings. Click Settings. Ad programs and then select its button assignments. Click OK. I will use the mouse and see what happens.

On the assumption that you downloaded the Intellipoint software for the Wireless Mobile Mouse 6000 ....

    http://www.microsoft.com/hardware/en-us/d/wireless-mobile-mouse-6000

Note - I may have mislead you by posting that there were 2 versions - those are for the Laser Mouse 6000 - my apologies.

Control Panel > Mouse > Mouse Properties is the route I guess you took to set the buttons.

If those settings do not work there may be a mechanical issue with the button.

Hmm - posting the same issue in 2 forums is not helpful from either forums point of view - the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing so to speak.

I got the Microsoft Mouse and Keyboard Center downloaded from Microsoft. Now the settings are here to allow the Buttons to work.
