    Hello all,

I am about at my wits end, my computer keeps crashing over and over, every 1 or so, I have no idea whats causing it, the computer is relatively new too.

    Its a AMD Athlon64 X2 4200+, 2GB Ram, 160GB HDD, Onboard NVidia 6100 GPU, Onboard Sound.

I took a look at the minidump's using WinDBG, but they dont give me any information that helps, according so some of the info I have gathered off the net, the Module name and Image Name should tell me whats causing the problem, but as you can see (pasted below), they dont tell me anything. All the minidumps say essentially the same thing, I am thinking about reinstalling windows, but I can't help but wonder if this problem will just happen again. I have also ran memtest86 and i passed all the tests, no errors.

If you have any idea as to the problem, or possibly need more info to help me diagnose this, dont hesitate to ask! Please help!

p.s. It even crashed while I was writing this message! Thank god for firefox's restore tabs

adaminc - Welcome to the Board :)

Please run a couple or recent dumps through our Dump Data collection tool and post the output here - may need to spread across 2 posts.

    Please be aware ....
    Please note ....
Your problem could well be memory related and the standard advice is to switch the RAM around in the slots, change slots and run with a single RAM stick at a time - bearing in mind the memory configuration demanded by the mobo.

It would not hurt to check out the hard drive with the manufacturer's diagnostic software ....
