WinXP Pro MBR

    Hey,
    After I shutdown WINXP then start it up I get the error that it cannot bootup due to corrupt windows system folder. I have to boot up to my CDROM and run the recovery chkdsk /p to correct the disk errors to the MBR then restartup the computer. I have been having to run CHKDSK on a daily basis to correct these problems.

    Have you tried the recovery console and from there, the fixmbr command?
